Background and Fieldprint Fingerprints
Everyone working in childcare is required to complete a background check and fingerprinting. First thing we do once your hired is start the background check process through our office. You will fill out a Background Check Request Form
We also set you up with an account through the Fieldprint Wisconsin Website. Once you are in the system with Fieldprint we we wait until we receive a processing kit in the mail.
Then you are able to go to the Minocqua office to have your prints taken. We will help you through this process and pay for all fees.
Health Screening
All employees must complete a TB test upon hire as well as have a physician complete a Staff Health Report. A signed record must be completed and returned to our office. You can go to your physician or make an appoint at Vilas County Health Department The Vilas County Health Department phone number is 715-479=3656. There is a $10.00 fee that is paid by us.
We are required to set you up with an account through The Registry. Based on your education, training and experience a level is assigned. You must first complete an Registry Application for our office files, then set-up an account and enter your information on the link provided above. You can use a coupon code PDG2021.
You will need to have your transcripts sent to the registry if you have them. We will reimburse you for these costs. Any other certifications of education and training may be faxed to them through our office or uploaded directly by you. The more proof of training and education you submit, the higher the level you are assigned.
